Yeah, we went first to their favorite spot – a wine bar. Then we went to an all-vegan restaurant called the Pirates Tavern. I’ll be posting about that eventually.

I am just getting to catch up on your trip – I was in Charleston, SC, Saturday – Wednesday. The pictures are great and I am still envious.

Devils Tower and Mount Rushmore are very cool.

Sounds like you are having a memorable time. It’s fun to follow your trip with you. The cat is doing fine…looked rather peaceful on her perch at the top of the stairs where she could watch the door…and didn’t move at all. Checked on the garden…good thing. I didn’t realize the vegetables are in containers. Even though it has rained the dirt was dust dry! So gave everything a good watering. Picked a few things to bring home.
Hey the tile looks wonderful! Beautiful!
The girls are doing great. They’ve moved right in. Both are actually asking for pettings and lovings!

I would bring back some rocks, but it’s kind of illegal. Plus, the petrified forest was already very stripped before the park service took it over. Gotta leave what’s left for others to see it.
