Way back in Aug 2005 i posted a map of the places in the world that i’ve visited. Here is a refresher:
Most of these were pass thru-visits on the way to other places. I do need to see more of the country, particularly out west.

This summer Sarah and I have made plans to drastically alter the amount of red on that map. Our plan is to make the map look like this:

Our 16 day 6000 mile journey will take us on a course that will go through Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin (in that order).
